The first post--An introduction

Look at me now mom! It was just a few years ago (ok, closer to 10) when I called you crazy for asking me to go to a "third-world country" with you on a mission trip. Little did we know then how Guatemala and her people would capture my heart.

Now in a short amount of time I will be heading down to Guatemala for six-months to work with Paso a Paso, an education based non-profit. This blog will be a place for me to share about my adventures, the people I meet, and anything else that comes to mind. I'll do my best to regularly post updates, but I can't make any promises at this point.
